Has been around volleyball for about 30 years. She has been coaching and directing with Uno since Summer of 1992. She played for Uno her junior and senior year of high school at Joliet Central. After playing for Christine Beltzhoover for 2 years, she received a full ride scholarship to Syracuse University, where she went on to become Big East Player of the Year her sophomore year as the setter. Was moved to outside hitter for her junior and senior year, where she was named Regional All-American her senior year. Inducted into the Syracuse University Orange Plus Hall of Fame in 1994.
After graduating from Syracuse, she went on to get her Master's Degree in Athletic Training at Indiana University. Once completing that program in 1992, she came back to Joliet and has been working with Uno since. My passion for the game is endless. I am thankful that I can walk into the Uno gym and say-"this is where I work" It is hardly work, I get so much enjoyment out of watching the players elvolve as athletes and people. They start as youngsters and leave as adults, the transformation I see is so rewarding! Thanks to all those in the past that I have interacted with that has helped shape and form the club to one of the top in the area! Married to Tony Baranski, children- Brandon 16, Taylor 15, Anna 11.
